Sometimes the most important thing is to just knit, the garment at the end is an added bonus. That’s exactly the case with this Gothic Night Shawl currently on my needles.
I’m not a big fan of blocking, as in I don’t particularly like doing it, but this shawl was screaming at me that it wanted to be blocked.
The weather here in the North East of England is living up to its unpredictable reputation and after a load of sleet, this last weekend it was wonderful blue skies and sunshine. Naturally, we’re forecast snow for next weekend again.
Sometimes you just need to knit round and round in circles when your head is foggy with grief.
