Best laid plans and all that…
I promised myself that I was going to be more conscientious about updating the blog, filming new vlogs for YouTube and all of that sort of thing. This site was given a spring clean and I was bursting with enthusiasm. Then it all went wrong.
I won’t bore you with all the details of every twist and turn in the car crash of my good intentions these last few weeks, but if you look at the photo in my previous post I’m sure you will get the jist of it.
So I’ve no words of wisdom or semi-witty observations to type about. What little brain power I’ve been able to muster has been needed for ‘work’ and even though the weather has kept me indoors I’ve hardly managed any knitting. All I have done is a little more on a new pair of socks. So far it’s been on the needles for 11 days (possibly a record for me) and the first one still isn’t half done. I’ve even decided to put in an afterthought heel to reduce the required brain power to the absolute minimum, so essentially at the moment, I’m just knitting a tube.
I will, therefore, leave you with some phone snaps of my tube of knitting and do my best to write something more lively and upbeat next time.
Take care everyone.
Oh and the yarn is the Peacock colourway by West Yorkshire Spinners 😉
